Brewing off site is a PITA! Starting to prep for BBD at a local brewery and I have a check list 3 pages long! Going to start organizing it all Wednesday night so I'm not scrambling the morning of. Getting excited over here!!

Kicked it around, I volunteered to help, starting early 7-8 am with mashing the batches and anything else LHBS may need, also signed up for 6 gallons of wort. Was either going to give it up or take home and brew Sunday, I think I will bring my burner, fermenting bucket, spoon and siphon just in case I feel up to it in the afternoon. Supposed to be a beautiful day upper 60's and sunshine, have a feeling it is going to be busy there.

I wish our LHBS gave out wort. We'll be attending for the tastings as well as the food they'll be serving including "Burgoo", which is apparently Kentucky Gumbo in honor of the Kentucky Derby.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Not giving it away, but selling at cost of ingredients. They are going to produce 60 gallons of Columbus Pale Ale wort for the day, and sell @ 6 g each. He wants to let each brewer that does this use his own interpretation of hops and hop schedule along with yeast. Then in June or July have a tasting for those that brewed.

Understand, didn't think it would be free. Our LHBS doesn't do anything like that - in fact, I can't even get them to brew recipes they sell and put them in their keg system. They have 6 beer taps all the time, usually some of them have nothing on them, and the others have brews where you have no idea of the recipe. To me, they should keep a revolving set of their own recipes, so if I like one I can then pull the recipe sheet and go buy the ingredients. They need a good dose of Marketing...

Well, the roofers aren't starting until tomorrow and say it will take at least 2 and likely 3 days so if I brew, it'll have to either be Saturday night or Sunday, later afternoon. So, I will pop in and see what you guys are doing but if I do brew Saturday, it'll all be over.
I have a yeast starter cold crashing so I'm going to try hard to get it done this weekend.
I'm with ya'll in spirit.

My roofer says he'll be finished tomorrow but probably late so I am planning on getting a brew in Sunday.
So, where are we meeting up? Google Hangouts, Tap Room, both? I'll pop in sometime so see what you guys are up to but don't want to get in the way. That's if I can hear over the hammers putting shingles on the roof!

@Beer-lord I think I will be creating a Google hangout for us to use. I'll post/send out meet up info later today. Since your not brewing tomorrow I may ask you to moderate the chat and or hang out if your up to it.

Leigh, since I'm not able to brew tomorrow, I will have to do most of 'homework' tomorrow so I can brew on Sunday so I can't even tell you what time I'll be available. I feel bad that I can't stick my nose in for the duration but with roof work and honey-do's, popping in a bit is all I can promise at this point.
What time(s) are you thinking this will be? Maybe I can move some things around a bit.

No worries Paul. If you can drop in, great. If not, no problem.
