Anti capitalist march? Wow, the NW just has them all, don't they?

I wonder where those marchers would be without their cherished smart phones made by capitalists?

But I'm not bitter.

Not just the NW, May day marches happen all over Europe too and in lots of other places in the US, but media tends to ignore them unless they devolve into Molotov cocktail throwing parties.

From perspective of the comment above, said phones are at best designed and marketed by capitalists. The people who actually made (manufactured) them are likely from China (close to 85% of them are assembled in China), therefore by communists or people under the control of communists. Who likely work 12 hour days and 72 hour weeks (Apple has tried to reform it to 60 hour weeks but YMMV, they can't keep track of it all). Many live in communal dormitories far from their homes, without any privacy. And they are paid jack shit by our standards. To reform the conditions and equivalent wage (not necessarily $ to $ equal, but standard of living equal) to what even a non-unionized US worker would expect, would make the phones manufacturing cost increase at least $4-$5 more each. Which I would personally gladly pay. But that's bad for the profit margins. So that kind of thing is what some of those marchers would be protesting. Now that said, some of them are just anarchists, and that's what leads to said "Molotov cocktail throwing parties".

Anything else I could add here belongs on Daily Kaos, not this forum LOL.

EDIT: I should say that I would not mind being "stuck" in Pike Brewing. There are lots of worse places to be "stuck" then that!

I got that too but I'm afraid to go to their website since I end up buying hops every time and promised myself I'd put a huge dent in my HUGE supply of hops already.
I'm working to that goal and have even asked RedBEERd to help as well.
But, I don't bottle much so I have enough caps to last me though I understand the owner of Farmhouse has heard about me.
