Because I was up at 7 am on my day off and cleaned 100 + bottles and bottled a 5 gal. batch. Then went to my Moms and used a cement cut saw in her garage so my Brother-in-law could remove some broken cement so we can re pour and fix the bad spots. I took the carb off my Moms lawn mower and cleaned it as the float was sticking and changed the oil in it and mowed her lawn. Came back home and bottled another 5 gal batch and cleaned every thing up.... Now I'm having a couple homebrews, I deserve it :)

I sure can't work like I once did.......... My back is killing me, but the homebrews seems to be helping. Maybe a few more and I will be able to sleep tonight. :)

Yeah, I hear ya. I'm at that awkward age; too old for the work I do, but too poor to retire. I've been working 10, 11, even 12 hours a day for the past three weeks, because it's Crazy Season in my line of work. Kind of like the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas in the retail trade.

But I'm beat, and I don't have any homebrew available! I've been drinking good craft beer, though, because I'm nobody's fool. Well, maybe SWMBO's....

Because I just got back from seeing Mr. Gnome, and my ears are ringing. Mr. Gnome is most awesome.

If you don't know what a Mr. Gnome is, then this is it.

You were literally 10 minutes down Rt 2 away from me. Last time I was at the Beachland Ballroom was to see a friend, Gene Schwartz, play with Robert Lockwood Jr. probably 10-12 years ago.

First time I've been there in a long time. They really fixed up that neighborhood. My grandmother used to live near Euclid Beach, so I used to spend a lot of time in those parts.
