I'm looking at hitting up a local brewery with some friends this weekend and I checked out what's on tap....they've got a pale ale using this hop that I've never heard of: Jarrylo.
Here's the description I found on Northern Brewer's site:
Let's get one thing straight, Jarrylo™ is not an IPA hop. Or at least it wasn’t bred that way. Paired with a crisp Pilsner malt base, Jarrylo™ shines with banana, pear, orange, and fruity spice.
Despite its upbringing estranged from the IPA cool kids, Jarrylo™ offers complex fruit flavors that make for a very unique Pale Ale and blend seamlessly into an IPA. Indeed, this is how commercial brewers have chosen to use it.
They are boasting a pretty cool lineup of pales and IPAs, and this is the place that makes the Milk Stout that looks like a pale ale. I just might have to try it - it's not dark!
I almost bought these at Farmhouse when they were listed as experimental but decided not to. I'm not sure I'd like them but would love to try some examples if I can find some here.

As a fathers day promotion, AHA is giving away 4oz of Jarrylo and 4oz of Azacca hops (8oz total) if you join/renew before June 30th.
Use the code HOPS4POPS.
I needed to do it, anyways, so I took advantage. I know you can find them cheaper in bulk, but some places sell those hops in 1oz packs for between $2.50 - $3.99 before shipping, so it's like getting you AHA membership for $10 if you look at it that way.
I'll use the Jarrylo in some short boil blond Belgians and Saisons. With the AAs around 16%, just a 15 minute boil (maybe even 10) is enough IBUs, and all those fruit flavors would be awesome in either.
EDIT: The azzaca sounds good for a either as well.
"Intense and tropical. Sustained impressions of citrus and very ripe mango, with notes of orchard fruit (pears, apples) and pine needles throughout."
Or of course both would work nicely in an APA/IPA. I'll try to save some until fall to do that too.

4oz of each would last me a while but this is interesting. I'm hoping to get to the brewery on Saturday for some tasting. It's interesting that they specifically say that they are not IPA jops when they sound wonderful to me.
My buddies and I did hit the brewery I mentioned in the OP and they had some awesome beers + a stellar location. It's too bad it is so far from me or I would go often.
I did come home with a growler full, but I digress....
I tried their pale ale that uses Amarillo and Jarrlyo but I couldn't really pick up anything from it so I don't know what to say about them. Yet.....
We stopped at a third brewery on the way and they were using these hops in their single-hop IPA line up. This is the brewery that I bought the single-hop IPA using Citra from and raved about in the Review thread (Hermitage). They had bombers of this new test batch on sale for $3.00 (not a typo), so we each grabbed one.
In the coming days I'll post my thoughts on this hop as they should be very front and center.

Do you have a link for that offer? I can't find it.

It was sent to me in an email. The promo code goes in a field on the online registration form near the bottom (called promo code or something).
It didn't show me either, but it also did not reject the code. So I am sort of assuming I will get them. If not, I guess I won't burn their place down. They make beer. But that code did come to me in an email from them FWIW. (the blurb I posted above came right out of that email).
"Note: The free hops will not appear on your confirmation receipt, but rest assured, they WILL be shipped to you (while supplies last) if you include the HOPS4POPS offer code at checkout!"
For those of you that are interested in trying these and are in Great Lakes Brewing market area, check out their Sharpshooter Session Wheat IPA. It also has Simcoe in it too though.

Ooof, now I know why the bomber was only $3.00. No likely.
I'm not going to be able to give a great description here, but I'll do my best since I only took one sip and couldn't bare another. I just don't like you guys enough to have put myself through more of that in my mouth.
It's weird. Almost minty on the nose and very spicy. I got no fruity/citrusy notes from it at all. And it was harsh on the taste and the finish. Granted, this was a single-hopped IPA using this beer and it's possible that the recipe was to blame, not the hop. For example, I had a SMaSH a local brewery did with Galaxy a while back and didn't like it at all and it turned me off of those hops. Since then I've had many beer with Galaxy that I like so take this input with a grain of salt.
Maybe these would be good in a Belgain, a Saison or something with rye in it to play off the spiciness. I dunno. But I couldn't drink enough of it to get a good feel.
Bummer all the way around.
Trying new hops is strange. My Rectum Rye with lots of Palisades is good, just different when you're not use to that hop. The more you drink, maybe you'd like it a bit more.
I hope someone drank the rest of it before you threw it out. Beer makes good sauce so you could have made a salad dressing or marinade. Just sayin cuz I'm cheap.
