Sixty-five years
Yesterday was my parents' anniversary. They got married in 1950, raised five kids together, and created a loving, tight-knit family. That's some commitment. And they still face life's challenges with unity and a good sense of humor. After they went out for a celebratory lunch, my father said to my mother, "Sixty-five years ago, who would have thought...that we'd have to pay that much for lunch."

65 years...an inspiration to us all.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
Edgar Allan Poe

Re: Sixty-five years
Very cool Dave. My parents will hit 64 years in July. Heck of an accomplishment and a great goal. I've got a shot if I can make it to 89 (if SWMBO allows me to live that long... )
Congrats to them!

Congratulations to them Dave!
My parents "only" made it to 63 before my Dad passed in 2008.
I'm raising my glass to them now!
