A Goat chocolate peanut butter porter. Not near as good as the one Steve brought to Nashville (and I wish I could get that here now) but definitely a pb porter

The steam beer where I accidently pitched a pack of Windsor instead of a pack of 34/70 through some total brain fart.

It tastes... more like a Belgian Pale Ale... then a steam beer. Which is ok, I like BPAs. But it's amazing how different it is, considering it's pretty much an anchor steam clone, except with the wrong yeast.

Tried our Breaking Black....tested the kegged version vs the bottled version.......The kegged version was a tad roastier and the bottled version had a little more alcohol taste ie burn but both got really good once they warmed a little

Sadly it's day/NyQuil...seems we both got the flu
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

The weird accidental British Steam Beer, which tastes like a Beligan Pale Ale. I'm not complaining, but it's weird.

I liked it despite my own screw ups. I used city tap water rather than spring and over carbed the bottles a bit. But despite that, it was still good and would be only better with spring water and correct carbonation. As for tonight, I'm having a home brewed blueberry wheat.

Maybe the best beer made in Tennessee. Certainly in the top five. Hmm... I'd rank Black Belle, H'Opry, Deux Rougues, Sue, this maybe as my top 5 (in no particular order )... i might throw another BBF beer up there as well, or maybe something from TN Brew Works, Corsair, Wiseacre, and Cool Springs Brewery to round a top 10.

To explain this one a bit. .. BlackBerry Farms is a luxury resort in the Smoky Mtns. Like $800 per night on the low end. They have had a nanobrewery brewing for resort guests for years, and they became highly sought after. These are generally hard to come by, but they just today started a small distro deal at whole foods, and i happened in at the right time to land a few. This is their Classic Saison.

Nice find Swen. Sometimes your just at the right place at the right time. Though it seems to happen to you more than anyone I know.

I just saw your post about Sue. That left the shop Tuesday evening and you were drinking it Wendsday night. You sir waste no time. Glad you liked it.
