I've never heard of Azacca hops before. Got to go look them up.

I'm back....an intense tropical fruit profile. Sounds fantastic, looks like your on to a really good recipe.

I am going to find out. I got 4 oz of these and 4 oz of Alayro hops free for renewing my AHA membership. I thought I would single hop 2 beers and find out what they taste like.

Yeah, I threw the Jarryloo into a batch, but only 1oz in 5 gallons, as it was a Belgian, but have not tossed the Azacca into anything yet. Interesting to see what you think if I don't get to those in the next batch.

Roger, any update on the Azacca hops? I just got in 8 oz for either a pale ale or low IPA in the near future and was curious. I need more hops like I need more bills but I can't seem to stop the hop, train wreck I"m on.

I kegged this APA yesterday. The sample was fantastic. These hops all by themselves are terrific. I am not sure how to describe the flavor. A nice balance of grapefruit and floral, leaning a little more toward the floral. Absolutely great all by themselves. Saturday I am going to brew up an APA with the Alayro hops.

Very glad to hear that. I've got a lot of hops I've never used before...Azacca, Honey Melon, Sorachi Ace.....can't wait to play with them over the next few months.
Lots of Monster Mash to make soon.

Guy in my club loves sorachi ace. He grows them now since he liked them so much. So many hops, so little time to use them all!!
