Because a certain (in)famous browns quarterback is making it take longer for me to get an IT project done.

Really he is (it's a small world).

...because tomorrow, June 6, is my 33rd wedding anniversary.

We'll be doing typical Saturday stuff during the day, but we plan on going out to a nice place for dinner. There's a new place in town; just opened up. It's called "The Brewhouse", so we're going to try it out, and I hope it lives up to its name.

A belated "Happy Anniversary" Dave!

I will drain that glass again.

Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

That's a true story, not that I had been doing it, but that's exactly what I told them and I did answer the door in my underwear. No ones come back yet, guess they think I might be a little more work than they're geared up for.
Several years ago my dad came to town and was staying at a hotel where the JW's were having some kind of convention. I begged him to let me go knock on all the doors and bother them but he wouldn't. Sigh. Missed my chance.

This past Sunday the temp was 90 (not complaining, I like it like that). First my freezer quit. Then my AC went out. Monday the repairman came. Freezer is under warranty (they think) but can't get the part until the end of the week. :( The AC was almost $600 to fix, with the recommendation that it be replaced "in the near future" because they're changing the refrigerant laws. Then the siding guy came to collect a 30% down payment for new vinyl. All in all an expensive day yesterday. I'm still not over it. So I'm having another round. Or so.

Because I got welder flash today, to those that might not know what that is, This is a faster way then me to explain it.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photokeratitis Not my first time but I don't like it to happen and am usually very careful. Today I had one of our welders (I also weld but have the guys in title do it for me if they are around) weld something for me while I was working right next to him. It got me good out of the right side. Sand in the eye feeling and blurred vision and makes it hard to sleep like something in your eyes. No permanent damages, just uncomfortable for a day or so. But a few home brews will help to relieve the symptoms and help me sleep. Drinking a few Rye Reds tonight.........
