I actually thought about you last night, steve. I didn't watch the whole thing but saw parts and then most of the 4th qtr. Sorry. And I understand your feelings since we lived in a 'losing' sports city so long until a good thing finally happened.
Also, while I can appreciate the amazing talent of Curry, I am NOT a fan. But look how close you came! Look at what one player did! And realize they did all of that without their 2nd and 3rd best players available.

To be honest, I think anyone would have wanted to see if LeBron could carry the entire thing on his back. However, it does do my heart good to watch Mr. Arrogant, Dan Gilbert, lose something. That did give me a warm feeling this morning when I saw the result.

Because I had to leave work early this morning and go back home due to a very pregnant goat having problems giving birth. I ended up having to pull the first one which was already dead. Then a couple hours later had to pull the second one as it was turned around and momma was having problems again. At the moment momma and the 2nd one are still alive but don't know if they will make it. Not one of my favorite days...

I had a filling fall out on Saturday. It didn't hurt, although it felt weird, and I kept scraping my tongue on the rough part of the tooth. So that was annoying. Anyway, I had an appointment with the dentist this morning, and he decided that, rather than replace the filling, he felt it best to put on a crown. Can't blame him; part of the tooth had been broken, and it probably wasn't worth salvaging by replacing the filling. So now I have a temporary crown, and I have to go back on July 7 to get the permanent one installed.

Tony, sorry about the goats.
Dave, I had a filling last week. I usually don't mind dental work, but this resulted in shooting pain in my jaw. I went straight to rum.
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.
Because I just finished putting a new set of tires on my motorcycle, I was really hoping it'd stay cool and overcast like it was this morning when we were at the local Farmer's Mkt. Unfortunately no, the sky cleared and the temperature jumped. Oh well, I had to get it done as my tires were getting pretty worn and now it's done for another year. Yay...
So I'm watching a movie on TV and I see something out of the corner of my eye... A mouse! No, wait, that's a little bigger than a mouse. A RAT??? Oh please, no!!! Wait, that thing just HOPPED under the bookcase. Rats don't hop like that. It's a BUNNY!! A little baby bunny! He must have come in through the doggie door. Oh Lord, don't let the dogs see it. "OK girls, let's go in the bedroom." Shut the door. Now what? That little sucker is fast, but inexperienced. I trapped him behind the old secretary cabinet with a towel and snagged him by one leg. He peed on the towel. His heart was beating out of his chest. i carried him gently to the grass and set him down. He immediately hopped away into my garden. To eat my carrot seedlings, no doubt. So now I need a homebrew.
