Re: Beer Distribution Map
Nice! Guess if I come across a beer I hear about and wanna try, I'll check this first to see if it's available! Thanks, Jeff!
Re: Beer Distribution Map
Easy peasy.
I still wish the one's that come to my area would offer ALL the beer they make and not just hand pick a few. But, our area is slowly growing into the craft beer world.
Wonder how up to date it is.

Re: Beer Distribution Map
Thanks for the find and post. A friend and I were just talking about a map like this, we were trying to see how far away we would have to go for a New Belgium Fat Tire. Also I didn't realize Ommegang has so much national coverage, they are mid-state NY, and I drink their Abby Ale http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/42/142 a lot and I got one like it I brew.

That's pretty cool! A bunch of newer breweries (<3 years old) in my area didn't make the list though.

Fat Tire? Here it's ubiquitous with the likes of Sam Adams Boston Lager in terms of availability. I didn't realize it was not widely available. As far as Ommegang - since it's been bought out by Duvel, it seems to be everywhere! Now, I wish New Glarus sent some of their stuff to us next door... it gets tiring having to drive up north to go get some.berryman wrote:Thanks for the find and post. Re: Beer Distribution Map
Yeah, I didn't realize Sweetwater and Terrapin had such a small area. The map can also help selecting beers to sent to someone. You can pick something to send that you can get that they might not be able too.

Re: Beer Distribution Map
Nothing on the northern east coast, Maryland would be my closest availability and although I like it ok, I wouldn't take a drive that far for some. My buddy that I was talking torusski wrote: Fat Tire? Here it's ubiquitous with the likes of Sam Adams Boston Lager in terms of availability. I didn't realize it was not widely available.
about where we could get FT around here, always brings a couple cases back from his Co. elk hunting trips, but we usually drink it up while talking about his elk hunting trip.
Edit: I like maps, but like BEER maps even better....

Bumping this for folks who might not have seen it.

Re: Beer Distribution Map
Fat tire is everywhere here. Every restaurant, every club, every pub, every store. It's actually more likely you find that then Boston Lager on a menu now. Everybody, even the places that have mostly macro swill have Fat Tire and Great Lakes Dortmunder (which if you like Fat Tire you would like too).
EDIT: Wow, I didn't notice this was a resurrected thread... I've been swenned!

Glad you bumped this, I had not ventured that far back when I joined the Borg and this is kind of a neat app.

I use this a lot, but I really should send these guys a few updates, as their info on Nashville breweries and TN distribution is pretty dated.
