Where to start with kegging?

Have a question on how to keg your beer or just want some tips on bottling! Don't stick a cork in it until you ask the Borg!

Excellent! Thanks again for all the input guys!!

I was definitely looking at building the keezer myself, but possibly just buying the keg unit, but it seems like it is more cost effective to build both, so that's the route I will go.

I think I will start making the shopping list of parts, and see how that goes, and work from there. I think I am leaning toward getting one keg to start with, but building the regulator setup for more than one keg in the future so I can expand.

Wise decision on starting with one but leaving the door open for expansion. The only real bugaboo I can see is installing the second tap post-build. It always looks better when things are symmetrical, so you'd either have to get two taps right away and have one just be a dummy until you get a second keg, or offset the one tap in anticipation of adding the second one later. The third alternative is re-building the collar completely, but that's just nuts.

Even so, it occurs to me that there might be a way to get a sort of horizontal tower with two taps right from the get-go, but that would entail more research to see if anyone even makes something like that.
