BeerBorg t-shirts for gals??? :)

Post by evily »

Alright, I keep getting emails about these awesome BeerBorg shirts, but when I go to look at them, they're only available in mens' sizing. Hmph. :p I don't want to wear a boxy man's shirt! I want something that shows off my curves!

Okay, enough ranting. I just needed an excuse to post here again, since it's been sooooo long since I last checked in here. I am a sad excuse for a Borg member. Please accept my apologies!

How is everyone doing??? Whats brewing? I must admit, I have not been doing much brewing lately, though I am still doing plenty beer tasting. :fedora: I recently took an awesome new position at work that requires a lot of international travel, so I just haven't had much time for brewing. But I have been able to sample beer in Germany, France and China. And Pennsylanvia. :p

I miss you guys and gals a lot! I don't feel worthy to be here, given my lack of brewing, but I think about you all a lot! I hope everyone is doing well. :clink:

No need to apologize. Life often gets in the way, and we've got more than one Borg member whose brewing activities have been on hiatus for one reason or another.

You really must post more often, though, even if you're not brewing anything. We miss you when you're not around. And we'd love to hear stories about your international beer-tasting adventures.

Yeah, it's tough visiting all those countries... Actually, as one that often travels, it does get monotonous, and taking in the sights is often difficult (my travel is all US-based though).

For a while we had no female representation, then Alb popped back in, now you. Brewbirds is no where to be found.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Anyone know what happened to alb1? She posted a couple of times, and then sort of disappeared. Too bad, I really liked her.

It's good to know I'm still welcome here. :)

The traveling isn't as glamourous as it sounds. It's actually really exhausting. But my company is dealing with a down market by restricting travel, so that is actually a good thing for me. Where I would normally have to travel to China 3-4 times per year, this year I will probably only go twice.

The beer in China is "meh". Tastes like BMC stuff. The craft beer market hasn't really taken off there, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. However they LOVE wine, and are the largest consumer of red wine in the world. So I had some pretty good wine there. :woot: I also tried baijiu, which is a distilled spirit, about 50% ABV. The Chinese like to play drinking games with it. It'll really put hair on your chest, if you're into that sort of thing. :o

Next time I go to China, I will have to teach my colleagues there how to brew so they can have good beer ready for me on future visits.

I just want you to know that the BeerBorg tee shirt actually does show off my curves. Unfortunately, my curves are all around my midsection.
