Ok, so I don't know about that link, I get the magazine on my iPad but Bloomberg business magazine has a really good article about AB-InBev and their purchasing of craft breweries. It's a very good article and looks at the issue from both sides, most prominently discussing the Goose Island buyout. If the link doesn't work I suggest trying to find the article online, I think you can do a limited number of articles before you pay.

I enjoyed it too.
While I love supporting small local business, I don't engage in any anti-corporate sentiment. I still buy Goose Island and Blue Point. I am pleased that AB doesn't seem interested in watering down any craft brew, and kind of surprised that they've only bought 4. That's not a threat to craft brewing.

Re: Interesting article about AB-InBev and Craft
Wow, I was just there 2 weeks ago and obviously had no idea. The beers were great and according to the article all that InBev has done is buy new equipment and start to produce some beers in more quantity. It's a small operation and not one that I would have thought they would go after.Since 2011, AB InBev has purchased four U.S. craft breweries: Goose Island Brewing in Chicago; Blue Point Brewing in Patchogue, N.Y.; 10 Barrel Brewing in Bend, Ore.; and Elysian.
Re: Interesting article about AB-InBev and Craft
It is very interesting. To hear they don't want to change the breweries, just help them is an interesting proposition. Being that I live in the middle of nowhere, having access to Goose Island has increased the number of 'craft' beers availabe on tap at many local eateries. That is a good thing imho, but I still prefer to support the little guy.
