Bottled a rye saison. It's so hot here in FL, saisons are the easiest to deal with right now.

Just finished bottling/keging a 5gal batch of my Shillelagh Irish Red

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Got a few tasks accomplished yesterday. Kegged a batch of SMaSH Raspberry Saison, transferred a batch of SMaSH Simcoe IPA into a secondary with whole leaf Simcoe hops. Then finished off with a new batch of SMaSH Amarillo IPA brewed up.

Brewed 5 gallons of Michigan Red, bringing my YTD total to 50 gallons, 11.39 shy of last year's total. Guess I'll pass it in early Fall.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Foiled plans today......I was planning on brewing in the late afternoon but have to push it off until Sunday. I'm having work done on the shed and since no one ever does what they promise, it's weeks late and in my way so I'll just keg the Lemon Saison today and drink instead. Well, I'm going to drink anyway so what's the difference?

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
I have a batch of South Ferry Steam Beer that's ready for kegging. I hope I'm not too tired after work today to do it. But if I put it off until Sunday morning, so be it. Sunday I'll definitely be brewing a batch of 100 Years War IPA, and then I'm going to take a little break from brewing. I've decided to forego the 2.5 gallon batches until after Labor Day, so I'll have two weeks with no brewing, and then another fiver, to keep the kegs going.

I bottled a 2.5G batch of Shedu Oatmeal Stout and a 2G batch of Bewitched Amber Ale. Since I still had that gallon of sanitizer available from bottling, I cleaned up the fermenters and then brewed a 2.5G batch of Twisted Monk Witbier. I've got a pound of amber DME coming this next week and then I'll brew the Winter Dark & also the Oktoberfest 2G recipes.

Your doing it right. That way you can let them condition and drink them at their best.TonyKZ1 wrote:I bottled a 2.5G batch of Shedu Oatmeal Stout and a 2G batch of Bewitched Amber Ale.
