SMaSH Raspberry Saison; Pale Malt, Saaz hops, Belle Saison yeast, & a one week addition of crushed local grown raspberries post fermentation. Deliciously refreshing with a clear crisp raspberry flavor. I'm not real big on the fruit beers, but this one is memorably good.

I just cracked open (okay actually just turned and removed the lid) and poured me a glass of wild spirit ipa. Hmm, this is pretty good, the wife even liked it.

My go-to IPA, based on Brew Demon IPA, with Amber DME and Cascade, Citra and Mosaic hop additions.

Hmm, with the way this one straight-up tastes, I'll bet those additions will only make it better. Thanks for posting, I may have to try that the next time I brew this.

I'm getting ready for the week. Sitting on the porch with this Berliner Weiss brewed with olives and strawberry. Really tasty, tart as all get out too. Image

My latest, a Grisette called Hayride...

Dryish, tart, refreshingly yummy!

Think of it as a lighter (4.3% ABV) Saison using Pilsen malt, a touch of wheat malt, with a lacto tartness (acidulated malt), but with the body of a bigger beer due to the addition of flaked oats!

Mmmm Mmmm Good!

Some of that Kvass wort juniper rye roggenbier like thing.

Rye and Bubblegum with just a hint of piney goodness. That's what it is. I hid what was left away so I'd not drink all the rest too fast, but I found it. And now it is doomed.

I'm drinking a bomber of Glow Lumenocity Pale Ale by Rhinegeist Brewing out of Cincinnati. This is a single hopped pale using Huell Melon. The bottle description is "radiates with notes of summer melon and strawberry". I must say, this is a wonderful pale ale. Really light in color and smooth drinking. And the description is pretty accurate.
