Mr. Beer has decided to close MrBeerFans.com forum which they have been hosting for a couple of years now.

Unfortunate that the MrBeerFans is shutting down. I always liked that forum (and the group of people) back in my Mr. B days... Hope a bunch of you find your way here.

Welcome all. This is a very friendly place and while it may be different and new, we are all in this great hobby for the same reason.....to brew great beer and make new friends. That's what has taken place here since Leigh started the Borg.
We all hope to help one another and have a great time doing it. We are affiliated with no company and owe no one anything so we can be free and honest with our opinions and discussions.

I used MrBeerFans for a few years... Just drifted away cause I could never get my phone browser to log in automatically to that forum. Welcome!

Mr. Beer dangled a carrot of an upgrade in front of us for a few months. One that could have possibly make it easier to use a smart phone on the forum. Of course it will not happen.

Welcome to all of you Mr. Beer Fan refuges. We are glad you are here on the BeerBorg. Sorry about the demise of MBF forum. Believe me when I say we feel your pain. Many of us went through similar issues with the Mr Beer Community a few years ago.

Hey Ray, Taz, Professor! (I never knew you were here professor). Glad you guys made it over. I have been checking this place out for a while. I dont frequent the Borg as much as MBF but I guess that will change now. The Borg has a great bunch of guys just like MBF. I hope to see all of our buds make their way here. We need Pudge, Whamo, Frosty, CoolDaddy, BP...everyone.

For the record MadBrewer=KNeace but I cant change it now and I didnt want damn near my full name all over the internet anymore than it was. So MadBrewer seems fitting.

Kevin, Yeah what happen over there at MBF really sucks. As I mentioned in other posts The BeerBorg forum was started because Mr Beer screwed up their own forum with a "Radical Upgrade" then alienated many of it's users.

The good thing here is that we are not run by any company just brewers. :welcome:
