Another one from MBF

Post by MrBandGuy »

Hi all,

Sucks to have to move, but the new place seems pretty good. It's like your favorite bar just closed down. You're sure the regulars at the new place are nice enough, but the decor is definite different.

Anyway, I've been brewing for since January 2012 here in southern Indiana. Just kegged batch 41 tonight, a saison. I'm a music teacher by day, thus the screen name. I'm also a Biab brewer, so I'm happy there is a forum specifically for that. I like to brew to style, but have a rotation of recipes I keep coming back to as well. All of my recipes are on brewtoad, if anyone uses that site.

Happy to be here and meet some new folks.

Welcome MrBandGuy, great to have you here.
Most us old timers here feel your initial pain about the move as most of us came here when the MrBeer Community forum made it's "radical upgrade" and really screwed the pooch, so to speak. Look around, get a feel for the place and you'll feel at home in no time.

This fellow BIAB brewer welcomes you. Can you teach me how to play guitar, banjo and mandolin better? I kind of suck a bit at some of those. :)

Yup, that's it exactly!

Although I haven't really had a favorite bar since I started homebrewing, and especially not since I moved to NYC, I did have a favorite beer forum.

This place does look pretty good, though...now, how's their jukebox? ;)

Maybe we can play some banjo together and have a few pints to make it sound better
