So for my birthday (53 tomorrow) my wife went out and got me an iPad Air. This is my very own NEW electronic device (all my others have been worn out half busted hand me downs). Now I'd like to protect it. So far I'm leaning toward this, but I'm certainly open for suggestions.
What do you use and why do you like it? Also any I should stay away from?
Thanks

Re: iPad Air cases
I use an iPad. Not the Air, just a regular iPad. The case I have is a Logitech with keyboard. I would highly recommend getting one with the keyboard. It almost makes it like using a laptop.

Amazon has tons of options. I have an air and live it but have a cheap but protective case.
Any protection is better than none.

Re: iPad Air cases
For my iPhone I have an ultra thin minimalistic case (basically just corner/screen protection), with a Wally Wallet stuck on the back. (I LOVE my Wally Wallet).
But for my iPad, my case is actually like a book cover. Doesn't even look like an iPad when it's closed, looks like a thin book. I don't remember who makes it, but I got it on Amazon. Has a magnetic latch that keeps it closed even if I drop it. Acts as a stand (landscape only) if I want it to.
I'd get one with a keyboard if I used it all the time, but I use a MacBook Pro as my laptop. I only have all these Apple devices because I code for them as part of my job. I've also got Androids and PCs and other crap, because of what I do.

Re: iPad Air cases
With 2 young kids and using our iPads at school to teach, I have the Otterbox and my wife uses the Lifeproof. Both have held up well and have been worth the money. I'd probably do the lifeproof given a choice, as its lighter. But, I do like my stand that it doesn't have.
Re: iPad Air cases
No help, sorry - Android guy here.
But, I do cover my phone and tablet with a Zagg sheild. I only use a cover for travel so it's not on a lot but I hear great things about the Otterbox brand in general.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! For Donna's Ipad, we got a Logitech, I believe, keyboard/cover that is magnetically attached or removed.
