Notify me when a reply is posted???

Is anyone else having issues with this forum feature:

"Notify me when a reply is posted"

When I have this option checked am not being notified. The feature stopped working for me about 2 weeks ago. Does not matter what computer, tablet, phone, location or network I use. I do not receive any notification that a response has been posted. Win 7, OS or Android

I used to have it checked, then unchecked it. You can Subscribe to any topic by clicking Subscribe Topic on the bottom left when reading it.

Tried that too Rick. I still receive no notifications of any type. Cleared all the cookies from my browsers. Removed the browsers, cleared all the setting & stored data. Still no luck. It is quite baffling since it is occurring on all devices. Now the notification is an email correct?

Some how I think the Comcast/Xfinity Email client is eating the notification Been having a huge amount of problems with them lately!!!

I will look in to this and see if there is something in the board's settings that needs to be fixed, but it appears to be working correctly for me

I do have "Notify me" checked for the "If you see something" thread and it has been working for me. In fact I got the email notification when haerbob or Monsteroyd posted there earlier about this problem.

For example I have this thread marked to notify, I have my defaults set that way in the CP, and yet 2 replies were made to this topic and I did not receive an email (nothing in spam folder either).

I got a notice upon a new post. 4 new posts and one e-mail.

I picked subscribe and got an email.

Make sure Info@beerborg.com is on your email whitelist.

I noticed that if I leave the page open in my browser while I am signed in I do not get the notifications. If I close the page I do get the notifications. I suspect that the new post notification feature is based on the last time you accessed the page. If you haven't accessed it using your account since the last notification of a post it will not send more notifications.

I have gone over the board settings and everything appears to be set up correctly. The fact that most people seem to be getting notifications and other don't leads me to believe that the issue may be an issue with the notification being blocked outside of the forum, either by the ISP or by some type of Spam filtering. I will continue to investigate this and let you know if I find out anything.
