My current cider is using Lavin EC-1118... It's a nice yeast.
So, I went to my LHBS to grab another one, along with a D-47 amd I saw this...
Anyone use it yet and have a review to share?
Thanks!

Re: Cider House Yeast
I have been using the Wyeast Sweet Mead yeast the couple of year's. I haven't been into a homeBrew store in almost a year. I do have a couple Mangrove Jack Cider kits that have a cider yeast in thrm, but I have yet to be able to use it. Sounds like you are going to be the guinea pig.

Yup, guess so then...
Maybe I'll plan it around an Apple Pie Cider or a CranApple Cider for spring...

Re: Cider House Yeast
Picked up a sachet of CH yeast on my last LHBS spend.
Waiting for fresh-pressed cider season to start later this month.

Cool beans, another guinea pig!
We'll have to try to remember to compare notes.
