Opinion on labeling...

Yes BrewDemon and Mr. Beer kits are pretty darn easy but sometime you need a little help from the Borg to get you on the right track. Post your questions here!

When I do bottle, I like having labels, too. For me it adds to the enjoyment of the whole beer-consuming process. I like too have the ABV, name and date of bottling on the label for easy reference.

Easy Trotter wrote:Lots of great tips and it's cool to see everyone's different labeling ideas. I tab the caps on all bottles with name, abv and date bottled. I made these labels just for the ones to be given away. Since I live in the U.S. southwest, I went with a western theme...
Nice label!

As I said earlier, it all depends on what your needs are. As Kealia said, it adds to the whole enjoyment of the experience for me. And I like to include the ABV and the bottling date, because those things seem to be the most important bits of info, IMO. Is it a little extra work? Yeah, but it's part of the hobby, for me. It finishes the job off nicely, in my mind.

Don't get me wrong, though; I really like making only one label for my kegged beers to display next to the tap! That really streamlines the process!

Thanks Inkleg. I'm a graphic designer and it was a fun project.
