I'm enjoying a Mission Gose by Evil Twin Brewing. I'm really digging this style. They are tasty and light in alcohol, which is a bonus. I can sit and enjoy this and watch a little college football tonight, and still be fine in the morning to go to work.

En Plein Air by Rockmill Brewery. It's a small local place very close to where I live. This is a very tasty Belgian Style Pale Ale.

BB2 and I split the Terrapin Rye Pale Ale with lunch today.

Most of our rye beers have been IPA styles and this one was much more in the session category.

It has Amarillo and Rye in it so of course we both liked. :p

We both agreed that it was a good beer but not a Great beer; BB2's assessment was "it should be on a grocery store shelf, not in a bottle shop."

I agree if it was at the store I'd probably buy it a lot as an everyday beer while our brewhaus is down.

My daughter is home visiting and she brought me a 6pk of Bur Oak Brewing Company's Boone County Brown, a local brewery in Columbia, MO. According to the label, hints of chocolate, coffee. It's good but a little different from the other brown ales I've tried.

Okto week continues... Couldn't get out to get some Yazoo Fall Lager, so this will have to do. Kinda ehh... Not bad, not great. Not surprising, considering MillCoors...

Blueberry Limeade. A bit early, and not nearly carbed, but quite good.

EDIT:

About halfway through, I added a Nashville PreProhibition Amber to the mix to make a most excellent radler...

Found a Yazoo Sly Rye Porter and am pleasantly surprised. The aroma is mildly fruity and while the rye is subdued, it does blend very well with the Porter side. I get a slight, almost minty back end taste. Gonna let this warm a bit and enjoy the second half of the beer as I know it will give me a different finish.
Glad I got a sixer of this to take home.

Sweet! I love the Sly Rye. They bitter with Pearle, which provides some minty overtones (EKG for flavor/aroma). The base Yazoo beers get ignored a lot, with the ETF funky beers getting the press, but this is a solid brew.

Where the heck did you find this? I didn't know Linus was distributing all the way down your way...
