I got ya covered Dawg. Last night while stepping up my starter I brought the wort to a boil and THEN dropped my stir bar in.
Yep, foamed over and made a small mess on the stove. I spent 15 minutes scrubbing it clean.

Fortunately not much wasted and I avoided injury. This is what happens when you are out of practice.
