Big weekend, beginning tonight

Post by FedoraDave »

My daughter gets married on Sunday! It's hard to believe the big day is here!

We'll be packing up and heading for a midtown hotel later this afternoon, and from there, we'll go to the rehearsal dinner (although I can't understand why we have to rehearse dinner; I've been eating dinner for years).

And my Saison and Pale Ale will be part of that dinner. Don't get me wrong; I'm not making this about me or my beer. But I want the evening to be the best it can be, and that means the beer I was commissioned to make for the occasion. And once you bottle your beer, it's up to fate and Ninkasi.

It's actually just a small part of a much larger event, but it would mean a lot to me and the happy couple to have the beer be a good thing. If it's not, it won't ruin anything, but I want my daughter to be pleased with my contribution, and besides -- good beer enhances any happy occasion!

I will definitely represent you all with a Borg hug. She knows how important you guys are to me, and she will think it is sweet of you.

Relax Don't Worry, Have A Wedding! Great advice! I just think it's going to get really dusty out there. Yeah, I think a lot of dust is gonna get in my eyes....
