I found a Blackstone Adam Bomb hiding in the back of my fridge. It's the last one from the Nashville trip. Still pretty tasty too. Maybe not quite as hoppy as it was back in February, but it's still good.

I couldn't resist opening another one. Only one bottle left from my 2/2013 case. Just gets better... #properGlassware

Tony, I recall that beer fondly. It was my second or third brew ever and I loved the Bewitched Amber. I used it a number of times over about 2-3 years to make a quick and easy Amber to have in the pipeline (with some modifications as time went on).

Yep, good deal, I thought it was pretty good. So far I'm thinking it's my best Mr. Beer beer yet, however they've got a new Imperial Red Ale Autumn seasonal that sure sounds good. And I need to try some of their other recipes too, adding different extracts and hops. I haven't made any Irish Red Ale yet and I used to love Killians, so we'll see what I make next I guess.

Last night it was St Archer Pale Ale. First time having this and I was really impressed!
Balanced toward the hoppy end of the spectrum, this straight forward “California-style” pale is eminently sessionable. Crystal and Munich malts showcase the bright, citrus, piney notes of Cascade, Citra, Chinook, and Simcoe hops. 5.5% ABV, 40 IBU’s.

A couple of Mothman Black IPAs from Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co. here in WV at the local Green Turtle followed by the first of probably 2-3 Wild Trail APAs from the same folks. Very nice brews I'd be dying to share.

You all do a Christmas swap? Last year at MBF, we did a Christmas swap of local/regional craft brews instead of the previous homebrews. It was nice to share some local stuff... although my partner failed to send beers. It is better to give than receive, right?

I believe there was one last year, yes. I think it was run like a Secret Santa. Or maybe I am thinking back to Me Beer days.
