Nominations For The October 2015 BeerBorg BOTM Are Open

Post by The_Professor »

NOMINATIONS FOR THE OCTOBER 2015 BEERBORG BREWER OF THE MONTH ARE OPEN NOW THRU SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27TH.

Nominations: Any member of the BeerBorg can nominate up to two candidates for the Brewer Of The Month. (It is helpful if you state why you are nominating them but not a requirement.) Any member can second any number of nominees. It is in bad taste to nominate or second yourself.

Nominees: Any member of the BeerBorg can be nominated for the Brewer Of The Month. There can be many different ideas of why someone should be the Brewer Of The Month. The process of nomination, second, and voting should mean that more than one person feels someone should be Brewer Of The Month.

I'm going to let FIT's nomination from another thread stand as the first nomination:

I could have sworn there was another one but I am not finding it this morning, half way through a cup of coffee.

Anyway, the first pitch is out...

Hmmm, I'm uber-flattered about the nomination and I don't see anything that says a mod can't be nominated but I feel a bit funny about this. I'm on the board alot because I pretty much am at a computer a good part of the day and spend too much time at one at night so I'm always a click away from the board. But, many of you know I am the king of BS and most of my posts are just that. I'm not sure how much knowledge I've passed on and feel I have learned way more than I could ever share.
So, would there be hurt feelings if I declined? I don't want to be a dong about it, just not sure I fit the BOTM as there are so many others that I feel contribute more than I do.

I think nominated you for DOTM is unacceptable. King of BS of the Month might be a fit though.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...
