Brewed 5 gallons of a Fat Tire clone, yet to be named. 70 gallons brewed this year so far. On deck is a new Irish Red.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Mackinac Island Red - I call this "Michigan Red"
Oatmeal Stout - I call this Not Fat, Stout - Oatmeal Stout

Bottled 5 gallons of Ann Arbor Red on 4/18/17. Bottled 5 gallons of Michigan Red on 5/8/17.

Brewed in 2017 - 22.13 gallons (19.91 in 2012, 48.06 in 2013, 61.39 in 2014, 84.26 in 2015,46.39 in 2016)
Brewed in lifetime - 282.14 gallons
Drinkable beer on hand -  13.58 cases, with 6.11 cases ready in May and early June.
Average cost per 12 pack through all beer brewed - $6.27(ingredients only)

I don't recall really noticing the Galaxy to smell very different but maybe slightly sweet if that's possible in a hop aroma.
Hope you get the brew done before the world ends. I'm ready for zombies and hope they like beer.

Certainly is. Kent Goldings have a sweet/candy like aroma which I like a lot. El Dorado has that jolly rancher candy aroma which I like not so much.

I recall Galaxy smelling like Citra/Cascade mixed up which I really liked.

HopUnion lists Citra as a substitute, so your smeller must work pretty good.

Finally bottling the Festbier. Tastes pretty darn good. Pretty pleased with this, though I totally missed the brewing window for a festbier. Maybe I'll hold onto it until next year...

Bottled Oktoberfest. would have liked to lager a little longer (brewed it Aug. 18 and has been secondary for about 4 weeks) BUT it is now October and would like to drink some before the end of the month. Started too late again as usual.

I'm drinking an Oktoberfest that I brewed back in April! Long lagering time does make a difference. It's mellow and clear as you'd ever want. I might tinker with the recipe a bit to get a bit more maltiness out of it, but it's my first crack at the style, and frankly, it ain't bad.

The next two weekends I'm taking it easy. Just a couple of quickie extract recipes I developed when work had me up to my a$$ in alligators when all I was supposed to do was drain the swamp. This Sunday, it's Scramblin' Amber Ale, and next week it's Rushin' Pale Ale.
