Lunar Eclipse
If it's not overcast, and you're not sleepy, go out and look at the moon.
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

Re: Lunar Eclipse
Sadly, it's too cloudy here to get much more than a glimpse. I'll have to rely on pictures.

Re: Lunar Eclipse
I'm sitting outside with a spotting scope watching it. It's a really neat process.

Re: Lunar Eclipse
I was able to get a couple of pics before it clouded over.

Re: Lunar Eclipse
My view as it approached the eclipse was about like MacGoo's...
About five minutes into full eclipse... The clouds came...
Sorry, no pics from the first half (was playing guitar, drinking my Belgi- Merican and sitting by a roaring campfire)... Bowie's Space Oddity was a hit as the moon became fully obscured by the way...
Now they are dispersing, here's one from the second half...

Re: Lunar Eclipse
It was cloudy here in Northern California as the moon rose, already dark from the eclipse and not showing through the backlit clouds. Once it got above the clouds, it was impressive like others' photos have been showing. In the meantime, we got some pretty sunset photos.

Re: Lunar Eclipse
Leigh you got some nice pictures of it there, around by us 8:30 or so we could see it thru the neighbors trees, by 9:30 filtered light thru the clouds.
