Very clever.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

Couldn't you just use a scale and measure by weight?
Re: What will they think of next?
I just use a post-it note and make a hash mark every time I pour a beer. Around 50 makes the keg kicks.

I keep two on gas at temp at all times and one conditioning at either room or cellar temp.
My method is simple, if the one next to the one I'm pouring from is either heavier or lighter than the one I'm pouring from, well... Then it's time to brew!

Re: What will they think of next?
Similar idea here. I have a Dri-Erase calendar mounted on the wall behind the door in the ManCave, and I use it to keep track of my brewing/bottling/kegging schedule. But I also use some of the other space to make hash marks for each pint I draw from a keg. As Jeff said, about 50 or so draws is the limit, depending on the final volume.Inkleg wrote:I just use a post-it note and make a hash mark every time I pour a beer. Around 50 makes the keg kicks.
I also use the board to note when I've changed the CO2 tank, just to see what the average life span is. So far it seems to be three months.

I like the idea very simple, my only complaint is the size of the ball why does it need to be so large? I usually fill my legs pretty full and pretty sure that giant ball will not fit..

Pretty neat. I wonder if there is some way to make this at home?

Gee y'all put so much thought in to it...me? when it makes a funny sound it's time to change it. Crises management keeps the brain active.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
