Now into BeerLord's Hippity Hoppity Amber, now were getting more into my style. Very nice balanced aroma, but is a bit dry, bitter kind of overpowers the malt when it is cold but it really does mellow out as it warms up. Did it over attenuate for a particular reason? Was this the blended starter?

Yes, I used 001/007 together. It did not over attenuate and started and finished where it was supposed to. I do like most of my beers warmer but as this one is aging, I find it's improved when colder. I'm not really sure why it's dry and can only assume the yeast had a fight. When I brew this again I will likely only use 001 but I may do a double batch and try both yeasts, side by side to see how each yeast does with this recipe.

Enjoy By 10/31/15. It's not their best one, IMO but its still damned good. Wish I could brew like this.

This version looks more orange-ish but is damn good. I agree with RedBEERd that in my opinion, not as good as one we had last year (I think it was April but not sure) but definitely better than the last few. To me, the nose is less intense as is the flavor. Dank for sure but more balanced than the last few by them.
A fine, quality beer IMO. Glad I got a sixer of this one.

Mashani can really school me after he chokes down my saison.
Did that... see your thread, I left a long review/commentary that I edited about 5000 times as I kept sipping on it as it warmed up. But the short version is don't feel like you did something wrong. The Sorachi is what is tripping it up. It would be a really good beer that many more people would like with a different hop or a different hop schedule I think.

I'm going to pop the Hippy Hoppity next.

My most favorite that I have brewed so far, Funky Farm House Saison. 4th 5 gal. Batch On this. Refined it after the first time and it was good to start, but now I keep it the same

Was my last Saison for the year and will brew it it again in the spring. Problem..... Just started on it but only have 2 cases of it.
Sad sight but I think I'll have another..

When the previous manager was still working he started a chocolate orange port. I finished it for him and after a month bulk aging I bottled it Monday. I ended up with a partial bottle so I'm drinking it. Not bad tart up front with the chocolate orange in the finish. I'm not really a wine guy, but this is good.

Founders Mosaic Promise. I'm in NYC for a few days and found a bar near Times Square with a pretty good selection..

This is good.

You went all the way to NY and went to the tourist trap Times Square?
Never been there but I here the beer scene is great and you can get just about any beer in the world there. Hope you can spend the rest of the month there trying them all.

2015 Yazoo Deux Rouges is on tap today. .. score! This beer is so awesome. .. oak, fruit, sour. 2015 didn't win at GABF (2014 cherry variant won last year), but it's still way up there on my list. Inky, did you ever open the 2014?
