It would be GREAT to meet BB and BB2 if possible! We could possibly make a trip to Greenville if it works out.

Just some info for any new Borgnite that might be reading this. The core group of this meet up had become friends on the MrBeer forum and were shipping beer back and forth (less Dawg LB Steve). The idea for a meet up was mentioned and Nashville 2015 happened. It was and open invite too and Steve and his wife made the trip and joined us. Like the core group, Steve and Donna folded right in as if they had been there all along and the friendship and closeness keeps growing.

So when we say that all are welcome we mean it. Locate a place to say in Asheville and come for a good time of beer talk, ball busting, good food eating time. Some of us are bringing our spousal support units, so they are welcome also. We will be staying on the North East side of Asheville.

Please post any thoughts or questions you have. We will help anyway we can.

SOOOOO TRUE! When we arrived in Nashville and met up at the pub that Friday nite, it was as if we were a group of old friends that were meeting up for a weekly get together!!!!

That would be awesome. I was bummed about last year too because I wanted to meet as many good folks as I could, being one of the newer guys on this board at that time. And while I'm sure Steve, Chris, Jeff, Swen and JJ likely got tired of me those 4 days (it was one of my goals) I'd certainly like to get you to try a good, dark, roasty, chewy beer...and then pick your brain about your west coast beer life.

I want to go. I am sometimes watching another trainers dogs around super bowl week as she tends to flee to the Caribbean then. But if I can get she who used to be SWMBO to monitor my children and my own dogs and I don't have the trainers dogs, then I'm in. Anyone have suggestions of places to stay close to where y'all will be, so I can look into it and figure my budget?

Just a quick look, I see 5 hotels probably within 2-3 miles just south of where we will be, Holiday Inn, Homewood Suites, Extended Stay America, Country Inn & Suites and Days Inn.

Yup...the more the merrier. We will be located a couple miles north east of town. North of Interstate 240.

Don't get put off by pricing you see there, that is for current stays, plug in the dates you would need to for Feb. and the prices are not bad. This is still considered "in season" for the area. The hotels mentioned earlier are directly south from where we will be.

We went through South Asheville on the last Greenville trip and the traffic down there was horrible. It must be a rapid growth urban sprawl area. This would be HWY 74 and 25. Just a heads up for the hotel hunters.

@Mashani drag Big Papa with you if you go 'kay.

NoMoBud is in the Greenville area as well; I don't think he has been on in a while but I'll shoot him an e-mail heads up.

If I CAN make this happen, I WILL make this happen. It could likely be a decision that is made very close to the actual date, though. I would love to be there.

I am with Kealia. This is only 6-7 hours from me and I know my wife has family is NC so this may work. If it does I am going to make a special beer for this celebration. I am going to do a Scottish Ale Twist :) and call it Crazy Scottish Bastard. Maybe the Arrogant Bastard hop schedule with the Scottish Ale base. This could work well.
