Sorry for your loss Ray. That really sucks. I lost a friend to suicide many years ago and I still miss him at times, but life moved on and there have been many good things that have filled the void and eased the pain. I hope you can find that relief and peace soon.

Sounds like, from your description, that he was enjoying his passion for racing at the time of his demise.

Would that we all could be enjoying our favorite things when our clock strikes...

I didn't want to bring it up because I didn't want to do anything that would seem to lessen the loss, but when I was pretty young, one of my uncles died in a crash at a local speedway. What kept everyone sane at the time was exactly what you said BigPapaG - he left the world doing what he loved (in his own car - that he built with his own hands).

So So sorry for his family and your great loss of a dear friend. For those that believe God has a plan for everything that happens, I know this hurts now but always look to the future.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I think it is good for you to reach out to any source of support at a time like this. Even though I haven't been around the Borg much lately, we are all friends and here for each other. Hang in there!
