And the draft is done. Now we wait for the season to start. Keep an eye on your rosters. If any of your players get hurt and are "out" for the next game, you can move them to your Injured Reserve and pick up another available player off the Waiver Wire.

Don't hesitate to ask questions if you can't figure out how to do something.

Hey guys! Just made it home. Guess I missed the draft, but it seems I did well with my rankings. I look forward to the season! Good luck everyone!

GRADING THE DRAFT

[listShangLaSteagles A+
Forte's and Nines A
Post 24 hour call B+
Silver City Beer Brewer B+
Krakens B+
DeBorg Lions B+
BlackDuck B+
Brewbirds Texans B
Philly Goldfish B
gwcr Steelers B
m00town Rufus C+
Bulls Seachickens D-
][/list]

FWIW. Based on data from yahoo and NFL.com I obtained the auction draft market value of each player we drafted; theoretically each team could have a value of $200, so I graded on the curve (like in HS), based on $200 = 'A+'. Of course this is a very unreliable predictor of league results, just as when the networks do draft grades. However, it's a way to answer "how did I do in the draft".

Not to worry you will probably end up winning the whole shabang. The grades are just an index of the value of individual players.

For example when Brewbirds2 got Reggie Bush in the third round it was because he fit as a flex and bye week standby for his team.

So later BB2 had to "reach" on wide receivers and choose a high risk/reward QB. So his "team's" market value is not that high but he has bye weeks etc. covered when actual play begins.

Your team strategy is not reflected in the grade it is all about how your team fits together and how you choose your starting roster each week. (football smiley  )

After having a few days to mull things over, Im pleased with my final roster. Id have messed it up for sure if I didnt get called away. I have a few bye week gaffes to deal with but those wont be til week 9 and 10. Im sure my roster will lookdifferent come the half way point. I like the grades and am thrilled with the top mark. Ive gone over all the rosters and see no cupcakes. I gave my top mark to post 24. I dont recall seeing a marquee hookup of a QB and his #1 WR and that'll be interesting to see how it plays out if that is indeed the case. Should be some good fun this year and the beginners shouldnt have any problems. As most will tell ya, dont overthink it, theres a reason why first rounders go in the first round, etc.
