Great beer score

Post by Beer-lord »

The twin and I were sent a nice care package from our Cali friends (who are moving back home in 4 weeks). This is to thank us for all the beer we've sent their way.
I'm drooling right now! Can't you tell they are hop heads too?

The only one of these I've had was Wookey Jack (which I love). Had a few from Bear Republic but I don't think I've had the X before. The others are one's they've enjoyed over the years and since we share hopheadedness, I think they chose well.

Congrats, clearly they know your tastes, too.

I'm familiar with all the breweries except Elysian - I think you'll be happy.

I think Mel Brooks said it better.

I've had Racer X it is a very good DIPA and Bear Republic is one of the west coast beers we can get locally.
I can't think of a Mel Brooks movie that wasn't great!

I think the most memorable IPA I've ever had was English Ales Dragon Slayer IPA on tap, when I visited Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey CA. a few years back. Anyone living out there interested in quenching the thirst of a New Jersey resident, please let me know.

Nice score!! I've had all of these except for the Islander IPA (not a big Coronado fan, little too hit and miss for me)
The Mongo is easily my personal favorite of the group, I visit Port Brewing/Lost Abbey a few times a year and always grab a bit of Mongo!

My buddy has talked about Port Brewing often and thinks they may be ahead of all the others.
Can't wait to delve into them all.
