FedEx and UPS allow you to setup free accounts which allow you to put comments in like "do not leave with neighbor" or "put on back deck", and these also trigger alerts to you when a package is in the stream with your address on it, when it's out for delivery, delivered, etc.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

FedEx misdelivered the package. They didn't leave it over there because I wasn't home. The tracking number just listed it as "delivered". I had no clue where. To their credit, FedEx tracked it down and corrected the issue.

Edit... well, I had a "clue", but didn't know for sure.

After reading this, I'm glad to report that I don't have any neighbors with issues like this. They just have issues with driving, parking, etc...

No, I ended up with the original shipment. Morebeer sent out a replacement shipmen, but It was returned when the original finally made it to my house. The original shipment did come in two boxes. One was correctly delivered this week and the other misdelivered last week.

Hats off to Morebeer for quickly sending out the replacement supplies. Hats off to FedEx for quickly correcting their mistake. Screw Grinch across the road though. Just bad form.

I've always been pleased with the service at MoreBeer so I'm happy to hear this.
Then again, I stop in the store because they are local to me - but the service is always great.
