I scanned through the thread, IB - you're freaking good at this...

but regarding label stock... the waterproof labels, do they come off the bottles easily? http://laserinkjetlabels.com/eshop/10Ex ... =4030-PG12

Seems a nice solution, if they clean up easy. (only have ink jet printer)

Thanks Kyle. The polylabels from laserinkjetlables are great for the fact that they are pretty waterproof and they look great, as they have a nice gloss and come out nice and sharp on an inkjet. However, they do not come off easily. Most of the time the poly peels off leaving a film of glue behind. The citrus based Goo Gone works well to remove the glue, but it is an extra step. I use 16oz bottles for a 2 gallon batch so I usually only have 15 bottles per batch, so It's not that big of a deal. But if I were doing 12oz bottles on a 5 gallon batch, I would think twice. I have actually switched from the poly lables to the craft paper ones that they offer. They are not waterproof, but I like the look and they come off much easier. Good luck, and be sure to post some pictures of your labels

I use the equivalent of Avery's peel and stick labels. They are 4in x 3.33in and peel right off after being used. They are not waterproof either, though.

One of the forum members here used to sell them - BeerLabelMan. I just haven't seen him in a while. Great prices and I can vouch for the quality of the labels.

Nice label Someguy!
I have a few labels around for my (home) brewery, none specific to individual recipes. I keg now, so I don't use many. But I did stick a couple on the kegs.

I kegged my Mosaic Pale Ale yesterday and had enough left over for three bottles so I *had* to come up with a label:

Here's a screenshot of the label that I've been using lately. It's just a basic label similar to the ones Brooklyn Brew Shop has for their recipe kits. I have it in a .pdf form, I add the necessary info, and then print. There's 12 labels to a page.

Don't give me too much credit. I just find images online that I like to re-purpose for my own use and then play with layouts a bit.

I'm generally happy with them, though - thanks.

Hahaha, Murphy Brown. Before I scrolled down to see the name I thought it might be the Bionic Woman.
