ALL DONE

Post by berryman »

Today was my first day at my new job, retirement. Almost 32 years at this one and over 7 on the previous one doing basically the same thing. My tool box is home, never has been here in the 37 years that I've owned it.

I slept in a little, 8 am. Had some breakfast at 930 and watched the news and weather, then worked on pruning trees in my apple orchard, took my Mom to the store before the ice storm hit, and brewed a 5 gal. batch of beer and waiting to cool down right now to pitch.............I never liked brewing on weeknights because I had problems getting up the next day for work, no problem now, every day I want can be a brew day................I'm going to really like this..

Yes it was, sad but happy. We had a little homemade glugg in the parking lot, it was Christmas eve and we all left at noon. A bunch of the guys followed me home to help unload my toolbox and we all drank quite a few beers in my basement bar. This is just some of what I found in my truck on my last day.

The young guys took care of the Busch in a hurry and that was good.
