RIP David Bowie

Post by Beer-lord »

Lost another music soul this weekend. In my opinion, he was a profound influence in the music industry for decades.
I saw him once, long after his heyday and while I can't say the show was awesome, I am glad I got to see him perform live.

Yup… This sucks. Was going to get his new album today after work (still am). Sucks that it will be the last new bowie album. His influence huge. Another legend gone...

And "The Hunger". Vampire movie meets art flick. Well worth watching. Filmed beautifully.

He was a true renaissance man. He kept re-inventing himself, and it always worked.

This is ground control to Major Tom . . .

While never a big fan, his music and lifestyle changed the face of how life is an evolution and stereotyping anyone for their differences is WRONG! I also will miss Lemmy
