Brewing related baseball cap

Post by duff »

I frequently wear a baseball cap when outside. I have a nice Dogfish Head cap right now but unfortunately after years of wear it is starting to fade. I would like to replace it with something similar but am having problems finding one that fits all my criteria.

I am looking for one that has pretty subdued colors(No bright red bill with dayglo yellow main part or stuff like that). And no alcohol related terms like brewing and ale or images of obvious drinks. I frequently work with customers and the company I am currently working for has a policy against the alcohol related imagery on clothing. It's fine if it has the alcohol term on the back of the hat in smaller lettering.

Similar Dogfish Head cap

Has anybody seen anything like this?

The borg works fast. That is pretty close I might be able to get away with it. I like the logo too.

$35 for a cap to advertise for someone else? Not moi!
But I do have a Dogfish Head cap that I got 2 years ago when they had a sell off. I think it was about $10 and I ordered 2 beer glasses to boot.

So duff, just so I'm sure, are you just looking for something NOT brewing related and just want a particular style? What about a local sports shop or university book store. (I may be just misinterpreting what you are asking for).

I would actually prefer something brewing related. It just has to be stealth brewing related.

I've found that outside of the trucker hat style with mesh most of the decently constructed caps I have been finding are all in that $25 and up range they just don't have an image that I care about on them.

Stone Brewery has great logos that I'm pretty sure you can get on hats. They don't say "Stone Brewing" (you can get those, too) but they have their gargoyle logo on them.

Thanks for the offer but I would rather avoid mesh. I'll have to check out the stone ones.

I got to thinking about it last night. And I might have a design for a hat. Has anybody ever used one of the online stores for designing your own hats? I think it would be neat to do one that had a big hop cone in the middle with wheat going up on either side.
