If it were me...
I'ld add the pre-brewed coffee at kegging...
It's not gonna get any more coffee (ish) since it's already brewed...
IE: You're adding brewed coffee, not coffee grounds...
Just a thought...

I've read it wains pretty fast so I was thinking if I'm not going to be drinking it anytime soon since I'm waiting for keg space, I should wait a bit.... No?

Hmmm, I've not read that, nor have I had that experience... But ok... Maybe...Beer-lord wrote:I've read it wains pretty fast so I was thinking if I'm not going to be drinking it anytime soon since I'm waiting for keg space, I should wait a bit.... No?
Just add a little more then!
Even if it does fade, you mentioned it's good as is too so, no harm no foul I suppose...

Re: Coffee Porter help
Good points and I appreciate your input. I'll chew on this a bit more. I guess I can't really lose no matter what I do.
The main thing is that I have to drink more so my kegerater always has an open spot ready for pouring.

Re: Coffee Porter help
Kegged and added cold press coffee and it's not coffee enough so I'll add more in a few days and if that doesn't help, I'll do what RedBEERd did and add some crushed beans to the keg. That's what I guess I should have done in the first place.

Re: Coffee Porter help
After 2 doses of cold press, I finally did what RedBEERd did to his version of a coffee porter and added less than he did to get more of a pronounced, coffee flavor and aroma.
I know coffee beers are not popular with lots of people but I really love them. This one is a winner for my tastes. Next time I make a stout, I might try adding coffee to it too. Feels good to make a beer that I'm not picking apart. I'm very hard on my beers so I'll pat myself on the back for this one.
