Nothing but water right now.
Got too much to do today and I'm afraid it won't be enough day to get it all finished.
But when I do, the homebrew will flow!
I've got four bottles of an Amarillo/Citra brew left that is damn good!

Another Calypso. Trying to drink them while they're young since they're hop-forward.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

I had heard about a local brewery but have not had a chance to get there until today. This is a true out of the garage brewery, but they have some tasty brew and are some great people. I didn't get any pics but if you look at their site you can pretty much see it all. It is very cool to see some home brewers make it.

I picked up a growler of their Son of Malice Double IPA it is pretty darn good a bit heavy on the malt for me but it is a good beer. I had a sample of the porter they make and that was VERY good.

"Hangtown Hills Stout", named for our county seat (Placerville) in the Sierra foothills, and for the Cascade hops that I used in this one. After a club brew day, I came home with 6 gallons of low gravity 2nd runnings, which I split among 3 LBKs with different variations. For this one I was running out of some ingredients, so I added Crystal 120 to the roasted barley as steeping grains, added DME, and used Cascade hops. Supposedly you don't use Cascade in a stout, but this came out really good.

I used Mosaic and Amarillo in a Stout. Brew it the way you want to, unless you are going for a true to style competition nothing is off the table. I keep trying to hold back a bottle or two of the stout I did to send to people but I enjoy it so much no one but me may ever try it.

I would like a Mosaic Amarillo stout for sure I think.

I'm drinking an APA I made with IPA levels of Simcoe and some Munich to balance it. YUM.
