extract ?

Hey Gang, I brewed up 2 batches of extracts this morning.A Munton's Light Lager and a Munton's Canadian Ale. When I opened the Light Lager,it appeared to be like separated.There was some light colored stuff as well as the normal darker colored glop. I added it to the brew kettle and it dissolved ok and smelled ok. Any other of you Extract/Kit brewers experience this?Answers apprieciated greatly. I guess I will find out in 3 weeks whether it's ok to bottle or not.

I use bulk lme from my LHBS all the time and have never seen that, but it's always Pilsen. It's always really fresh when I get it and I freeze it until is time to use it.

BTW,the best by date was April 2017.

You can't compare LME to HME. It's possible that their HME separated during storage. If the can wasn't bulging, I'm sure it's fine.
