I picked up something new to try. Red Trolley Ale from Karl Strauss Brewing Company in San Diego.

Apparently it is their "Award Winning" Irish Red Ale.
Originally our first holiday beer, Red Trolley Ale sets the standard for Irish Red Ales. Each batch of this multi award-winning beer is brewed with a half-ton of caramelized malts for a deep copper color and toffee flavor. After adding the perfect mix of hops for balance, the brew is warm-fermented to bring out hints of raisins and currants. It’s time to take this Trolley for a ride.

It is not completely dominated by the crystal malt (too sweet) like some red ales are and it is not thin. The crystal malts are a nice mellow flavor, some maltiness, and a nice bitterness (17 IBU per their site). Very nice Red Ale.

That's a good one. If you can, try their Mosaic Session Ale. It's awesome.

Having had the Mosaic from Rhinegeist I don't doubt the Nelson Sauvin is great, too.

I actually just brewed up my NS Pale this past weekend. I also recently had a local brew where they used Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin called, "Tickle Me Nelmo".
Yeah, I'll be stealing that name for an upcoming brew!

Drinking my Cream Ale. I didn't think I would really like this beer. I only made it for my brew club competition. I am really happy with how this has turned out. It is quite tasty and crystal clear! At least i'll get 3 pts for clarity :)

Wheatwine; second attempt at this style & this one is much improved over my first attempt! This one finished at 10.0% ABV with Fermentis US-05 yeast, my first batch finished at 10.2% with Lallemand BRY-97 yeast. This one is smooth.

New Belgium Side Trip.

First time I had this, but if you like this, you'd like many of the simple blonde Belgians I brew in the summer.

New Belgium actually makes good Belgians. Cool.

This is Kealia's Mosaic Pale Ale. Very tasty. Full of fruitiness. This bottle had a ton of sediment in it, but after a couple weeks in the fridge and a very careful pour, it turned out almost crystal clear in the glass. I was surprised how compact the sediment was at the bottom of the bottle.

Nice beer Ron. Very well done. I could drink this again and again.
