Some Warsteiner Pilsner
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
Edgar Allan Poe

Re: What are you drinking?
Picked up mixer sixer today and as part of that, snagged two Founder's Azacca IPA's...
Wanted to taste that hop...
Man, this is really good!

Shared a six pack of New Belgium Fat Tire with my oldest son this evening. I love this beer.
Re: What are you drinking?
I like everything I threw that hop in. So much that I bought more of them.BigPapaG wrote:Picked up mixer sixer today and as part of that, snagged two Founder's Azacca IPA's...

I drank some of my Irish Red, and now am drinking some of my Brown Ale. Both of which I will brew again, as they are super easy to drink and tasty.

Gonna grab some on my next jaunt to my LHBS... Figure I'll get about six ounces and see what I can do with them.mashani wrote:I like everything I threw that hop in. Re: What are you drinking?
Wicked Weed Iron Lady Imperial Black IPA. Pretty good. A little more roasty in both the aroma and flavor than I was expecting for a Black IPA, but still pretty good.

Re: What are you drinking?
Dominion Double D IPA and Brew Free or Die IPA. Apparently, the Dominion is 9% ABV. The Brew Free or Die is "only" 7%. I think that 9% brew is kicking in.
Re: What are you drinking?
Sierra Nevada Torpedo... A solid "go to" IPA and readily available no matter where your are
Re: What are you drinking?
I like that beer. As you said, a solid go to IPA that is widely available (I can even get it in Utah at the state run store for about twice the price I could get it in another state).Pudge wrote:Sierra Nevada Torpedo... A solid "go to" IPA and readily available no matter where your are
Re: What are you drinking?
Kicked the keg on my Innagadda da IPA Cascadian Ale ( boo hoo )
So, I'm drinking a Southern Tier 2XSmash Double IPA made with Pale Malt and Mosaic Hops.

Re: What are you drinking?
It isn't over the top like a lot of IPAs try to be. Good solid flavor and good solid abv. Again, not over the top.bpgreen wrote:I like that beer. Re: What are you drinking?
2013 JW Lee Manchester Star is drinking quite nicely. The local craft beer store had these on clearance for $3, so I need to go grab a few more. They also had 2008 JW Lee Harvest Ale for $3 (regular $9), so I picked up a few of those as well. The last Harvest Ale I had was back in '13 at my reunion. It was a 1988 bottle at the ever great Heorot Pub and Draught House (seriously, this is one of my favorite beer bars, and regularly rated as one of the top in the country... if ever in Muncie, seek this out), so it should be fun to open a "freshie" like this...

Re: What are you drinking?
Last night at trivia night - another beer from Faction who put out the Anomaly Milk Stout which is a pale-colored Stout.
This was a Pale Noir, a dark pale ale:
It had no roasted flavors in it at all, and if I were blindfolded I would have never known it was dark in color.
It confuses my brain, but it was a tasty pale ale!
