I can see how easy it is to clean just by the initial wipe down/cleaning I gave it. That is certainly nice.

Out of curiosity, what are you using for temp control?

My temp control came with a standard but small probe and I bought a large one as well but rarely use it. For my SS bucket, I just take the probe and stick it under the handle so that the metal probe is touched the metal bucket. It's not perfect but I set my thermostat for 65 degrees and it keeps things just fine for me.
I usually use the long probe in my Big Mouth fermenter. So far, I've decided not to drill a hole in the lid of the SS fermenter but that may change come this summer.
This is a crappy picture but the SS is in use now so I didn't want to take it out but if you look closely, you may be able to tell how I have the probe under the handle knob. I had to take it as a sideways view so tip your head to the right and see if that gives you the idea.
