BSG Red Rye

Post by jimjohson »

http://bsghandcraft.com/index.php/red-r ... g-kit.html We sell 'em and being a ryeaholic curiosity finally got the better of me...I added a1# of extra light DME that I did the hop boils in (.5 gal of water to 1 lb of DME got me a 1.052 wort) that way I didn't destroy the color profile. I'm sure it's a point or 2 darker but a very nice dark red. Nice rye flavor. This is a good extract kit. Sorry I don't have pics but I went to the Barney Rubble School of Photography. :lol:
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
