Everyone have a Happy and Safe St. Patrick's Day!

'Round here, most everything will happen this weekend...

Parades both days, drinking both days... Lots of Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner to go around...

I'll be making ours on Sunday most likely as I don't often hit the parade route.

We've already had a parade this past weekend and the Irish/Italian parade is this weekend. Last weekends parade past right in front of my office but I never come to that. Just a bunch of drunks. Sorry if that offends any of the drunks from the Borg.
I am mostly Irish/Italian and I still stay away from those events. At our parades, they throw cabbages, carrots, potatoes, and many other food items. Crazy huh?

Should stand out front with your brew kettle and catch the stew ingredients!

Having seen how these people act for this parade years ago, my kettle would be full of something else as they'd use it for a lavatory!

I thought about going to the parade this morning/afternoon, but then remembered the last time I took the train downtown for that and how wasted everyone was on it... before it started... and then the ride back, which was just not right.

Then I thought about going on a bike ride, but then thought about the folks who didn't take the train. So I didn't do that...

So I put on my kilt and mowed the lawn for the first time. And then tossed my last Irish Red in the fridge.
