Pulled the trigger
I’m just having a hard time lifting full 5-gal kegs into the keezer. It used to be easy but the past 6 months have (temporarily, I hope!) wrecked my lower body strength. I just got done with a teaching gig which is $$ on the side, so I pulled the trigger on this. Upgraded to Perlicks, and got a tower cooler from Amazon: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00KC070SI/r ... wer+cooler

Way to go! The only problem I have with my tri-tap is keeping 3 kegs in it.

I'm planning to keep a keg of water in there. Easy to take out if I need beer room, but cold and refreshing sparkly for summer rehydration.

Very nice Alb! It is nice not having to do any lifting to get kegs into my kegerator, even for a retired powerlifter.

Do take care of your back. I damaged mine when young, and suffered badly for over a decade. Only plenty of caution and stretching put me in better shape.

Nice, 3 ball locks fit just nice in those. One back and center, two forward.

Re: Pulled the trigger
Nice rig, Li'l Sis!
I sometimes have a little difficulty getting full kegs into my keezer, but I manage by standing on a folding stepladder and reaching in from the side. I hadn't anticipated this when planning to move to kegging. I don't regret my choice, and I'm not looking to change anything, but knowing there are more options might have influenced my decision.
