No big deal if not, I'm still getting used to your great site.

And many thanks for having us and all your efforts.
+1, I keep doing it too.

Also, if there was a way to always have the: "view newest/unread" options to always show themselves instead of disappearing once you are in a thread that would be cool.
Switching the Submit and Draft buttons is something that I will have to look at and see if it's something that can be done.

The View options moves from the left to the right side of the page. There is a small v button to the right of your user name that has all the view options in it. :thanks:

I also liked to be able to bring the mouse pointer over a topic in the menu and have a small window open up so I could preview the conversation. For example...put the mouse pointer over top of the title "If you see something, Say Something" and part of the OP's comments would show up.

Wow, that was fast on the glossary!

How about a pure wish list hallucination idea?

Visual definitions of certain steps / conditions. For example a quick vid of a hot break. There are probably more, but it could make certain scary things more accessible.

Hint for Louie, an inline animated GIF would probably post like a pic. I have no clue how to make one.

Just a thought, can you change the number of posts per page? 10 seems like too few before changing pages.

+1 !! You beat me to it, BDuck. That has become one of my favorite features in all of forum-dom. A real time-saver when wading through a large list of new posts.

Hey Louie. I know you've been focusing on the forum, but you may want to change the content on the http://www.beerborg.com/index/social/ page. If people find that link before they find the actual forum, they may think things aren't quite ready here yet. Wouldn't want someone to go away before they even get here.

+1 To BlackDuck, would like the mouseover for preview if possible, that function is very handy

+1 To gwcr, it is a bit confusing and most people may not know it is even a link to click on.

Also, maybe adding a local meetup or somehting subforum.
It would be great to see how close some are to meet up at a brewery or other.

Just a comment regarding the forum appearance. Very dark. Thinks on a black background vs. a white background are harder to read in general and less "inviting". The whole forum is very dark. Take a look at forums and websites in general, and the most popular ones aren't gray or black backgrounds. Lighten up... :)

I can't speak for Louie but I did ask him if there was any way to tweak the forum settings for users and at this point, there's not but he's likely going to be looking at it in the future. Some, not many, forums offer a few background settings but it's a minor annoyance at this point. I'm just glad to have a place the aggravate the crap out of all you guys.

Actually I think it's quite doable. He's using Artodia Black, I think it would be quite easy to change it to one of the other styles: http://www.artodia.com/phpbb-styles/

Don't know how familiar he is with doing it, but I think it's just swapping some files and changes a few lines of code. Up to him, it's his forum, not mine :)
