RandyG wrote:Hi Gang, not brewing anything, but have 2x2 gallon batches to bottle Tuesday. A Cerveza, and a Strong Ale. I usually put brewing on hold until late Sept.,but I may brew a couple of saisons over the summer.Maybe with Citra, and Nelson Hops, using Belle Saison yeast. Should be good.
Living in New Jersey the brewing weather is perfect for me right now, early spring and late fall brings the best brewing weather of the year. Summer brings high tap water temperatures and the extreme heat and humidity make hovering over boiling wort a chore.

I'm guessing your living somewhere other than the Northeast, congratulations on having some nice beers to bottle and recipes to look forward to brewing.

Thanx Screwy, actually,I live in south Central Pa. The weather now,(other than the constant rain)would be dynamite conditions for brewing, but as I said I've got over 13 cases of various styles and flavors to keep me happy until Sept. brewing starts again. I will probably brew one or 2 batches of a Saison later on maybe in late June. All my batches are 2 gallon sized, and thats why I've got so many different kinds.Sometimes I'll split a batch between 2x 5 liter mini-kegs.That works out well also.So have a good summer and Cheers. :fillup
